Serenity
Many know the Serenity Prayer from Reinhold Niebuhr and its first prophetic sentences:
“God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change
the courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
enjoying one moment at a time.
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace.”
These wise words explain how to navigate this language called English which has been used as a weapon to harm its originators, the Black Mothers.
The Sibyls are cleaning this antiquated language by removing the melanin disrespect, reviling the attack upon the nurturing nature of the mother, restoring the sound and light of truth back into this English story.
We fight these linguistic battles of syntax in order to continue winning the larger war of Divine Black Mother Right to what is sound and just. We insist that the Highlander legacy-victory of honor and moral righteousness be restored upon this planet.
As the prayer states, not all can be changed or saved, but those who know the difference between action and apathy live to do battle and fight to win. Those spirits of good continue to be blessed now and in the beyond for the sacrifices they give in this day at this time for the ultimate victory of justice on the pathway to peace.
